ITINERARY
DAY 1: AUSTRALIA TO JOHANNESBURG
Depart Australia on flight to Johannesburg.

DAY 2: JOHANNESBURG TO KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
On arrival into Johannesburg, connect with your flight to Hoedspruit, gateway to the northern section of the Kruger National Park. Met and transferred to Moditlo River Lodge for 3 nights, including all meals and game activities. Situated on 36,000 acres of African bushveld, Moditlo River Lodge sits at the heart of the Blue Canyon Conservancy, a stretch of protected land in close proximity to the worldrenowned Greater Kruger National Park and is home to an astonishing array of fauna and flora. Moditlo River Lodge was designed and built with one goal in mind: to provide guests with an authentic African safari experience. The Main Lodge is spacious with ample verandas that wrap around our various dining and entertainment areas. Here you will find a crystal-clear swimming pool, curio shop and bar.

DAYS 3-4: ON SAFARI
These days will be spent on safari. Moditlo River Lodge offers game drives in the early morning and late afternoon conducted by experienced nature guides in open 4x4 game-viewing vehicles. Morning game drives include complementary coffee and tea; afternoon drives include sundowners and snacks.

DAY 5: KRUGER NATIONAL PARK TO CAPE TOWN
Morning game drive then transfer to the airport for your flight to Cape Town. On arrival you will be met and transferred to The PortsWood Hotel for 3 nights accommodation including breakfast daily. Afternoon at leisure to explore the V&A Waterfront area. The PortsWood Hotel is seen as a piece of Cape Town’s history. The restaurant and lobby are built around the original well and holding cells for prisoners en route to Robben Island 300 years ago. The hotel is famous for its unique, personal approach to service. Situated at the foot of Table Mountain and in the heart of Cape Town’s working harbour – its perfect location makes it the ideal hotel in Cape Town.

DAYS 6-7: CAPE TOWN
These days will be spent exploring Cape Town. Included during your stay is a full day tour to the Cape Highlights – visiting Hout Bay, Chapman’s Peak, Cape Point Nature Reserve and Simon’s Town. Then travel onto the winelands through historic Stellenbosch including a wine tasting. Return to Cape Town.

DAY 8: CAPE TOWN TO VICTORIA FALLS
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight via Johannesburg to Victoria Falls. Met and transferred to the Kingdom Hotel for 3 nights accommodation including breakfast daily. Afternoon sunset cruise on the Mighty Zambezi River. The Kingdom Hotel is nestled around a vast man made lake so all the rooms have a view. Classically decorated in warm colours with furnishings that feature local Zimbabwe teak the hotel is located within easy walking distance of the small town and the falls.

DAY 9: CHOBE NATIONAL PARK
Depart early this morning for a full day guided tour to the magnificent Chobe National Park in Botswana. Transfer to the Botswana border by road then transfer directly to the river to board your vessel for your morning game cruise on the Chobe River – a relaxing and magical way to see the magnificent wildlife that bounds Chobe. After lunch, depart on an open safari vehicle into the National Park in search of an abundance of wildlife. Transfer back to Victoria Falls for overnight accommodation.

DAY 10: VICTORIA FALLS
Guided tour of the falls this morning then the rest of your day is at leisure to partake in the many activities available to you in the area. This evening dinner will be at The Boma Restaurant – tantalising aromas of local dishes and game meat on the barbeque fill the restaurant, which is partially open to the surrounding forest and the night skies. Staff members are warm and hospitable, offering traditional delicacies to guests as they enjoy the warm African evening.

DAY 11: VICTORIA FALLS TO JOHANNESBURG
A leisure morning in Victoria Falls for some last minute shopping or sightseeing before transfer to the airport for your flight back to Johannesburg to connect with your onward flight.

ITINERARY
DAY 1: DAY 1: KILIMANJARO – ARUSHA
Upon arrival into Kilimanjaro you will be transferred to the Arusha Coffee Lodge. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

 DAY 2: ARUSHA - LAKE MANYARA
This afternoon your safari departs Arusha passing through the Masai Steppe filled with many picturesque African villages as well as maize, coffee and banana plantations. At the town of Makuyuni turn north west and continue your journey up through a scenic escarpment that brings you to your lodge, perched on the edge of the Rift Valley with stunning views over the distant Lake Manyara. You will overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge. (B)(D)

DAY 3: LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK - SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast there is a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park that returns to the lodge in time for lunch. Leaving Lake Manyara behind, your journey continues north west across the stunning hilly countryside of the highlands which is filled with wheat and coffee plantations, and then into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. From here lies the vast plains of the Serengeti, where you’ll hopefully start spotting game well before you get into the park. Your home for the next two nights is Serengeti Sopa Lodge. (B)(L)(D)

DAY 4: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Today you will enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the Serengeti National Park. (B)(L)(D)

DAY 5: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK - NGORONGORO CRATER
After breakfast depart for the Ngorongoro Crater, viewing game across the vast Serengeti plains, stopping off en-route for your picnic lunch. You then continue your journey towards Ngorongoro where you will visit a Masai Village before heading to your lodge, Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge, set high on the rim of Ngorongoro Crater. (B)(L)(D)

DAY 6: NGORONGORO CRATER
A highlight awaits you this morning as you depart to explore what is commonly referred to as the world’s largest wildlife zoo. After breakfast, you descend with a picnic lunch through the early morning mists and 2,000 feet into the crater. Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. Due to its size and diversity, the crater floor is comprised of several distinct areas, ranging from forest, swamps, lakes and springs, to open grassland and some sandy dunes. It’s an awesome wildlife experience. Lunch is served near a small lake filled with hippos. You then continue game viewing before returning to the crater’s rim and your lodge. (B)(L)(D)

DAY 7: NGORONGORO CRATER - TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
Departing Ngorongoro Crater after breakfast, head south east past Lake Manyara and Mto wa Mbu village. Through the highlands and the Karatu district, you’ll view the scenic wheat plains and coffee plantations before journeying down the spectacular escarpment where you turn south on to the main Arusha – Dodoma road and into the park. From here to the lodge, you’ll enjoy a game drive en-route. After lunch and perhaps a swim at your lodge, the remainder of the afternoon will be spent on a game drive. (B)(L)(D)

DAY 8: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK – ARUSHA
Depart after breakfast and head north east to Arusha. The journey will pass through the Masai Steppe filled with many picturesque African villages as well as maize, coffee and banana plantations. Arrive back into Arusha around midday to connect with your onward arrangements. (B)

DAY 1: NAIROBI - LEWA WILDERNESS
Transfer from your hotel to Wilson Airport for the scheduled flight to Lewa Conservancy. A very warm welcome awaits you at the home of Will and Emma Craig. For 40 years guests have been coming to this remarkable region. Those four decades have seen that passion passed down through the Craig family who proudly continue to run Lewa Wilderness today. Lewa Wilderness offers ten beautifully decorated cottages, all with sitting rooms, open fires and ensuites. Here, you will find wildlife in bountiful numbers, a direct result of pioneering conservation methods which are second to none. (L)(D)

DAYS 2-3: LEWA WILDERNESS
The advantage of being located in the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy is that you are surrounded by rich game viewing opportunities without the crowds. There is a very good
chance of seeing all of the Big Five and Lewa is one of the only game parks where visitors are almost guaranteed to see the endangered black and white rhinos while on safari. Lewa Wilderness offers a diverse range of activities, from game drives with expert guides, walking with Masai, a camel safari, treetop canopy walk and visiting a local Masai village to a flight in East Africa’s only open cockpit biplane (additional cost) and, after a day exploring, a dip in the salt-water infinity pool will refresh your senses. DAY 4: LEWA WILDERNESS – GOVERNORS’ CAMP, MASAI MARA
Early morning game activity before flying to Governors’ Camp located in the heart of the best game viewing area of the Masai Mara National Reserve. The setting is magical.
Governors’ Camp nestles in the forest along the winding banks of the Mara River, its waters teeming with birdlife, hippo and crocodile. (B)(L)(D)

DAYS 5-6: GOVERNORS’ CAMP, MASAI MARA
Being located inside the Masai Mara National Reserve in the heart of one of the best wildlife viewing areas, means you won’t waste time getting to the action. Twice daily game drives are in custom built 4WD land rovers with highly trained and experienced guides. (B)(L)(D)

DAY 7: GOVERNORS’ CAMP – NAIROBI
