DAY 1 CAIRO
Upon arrival at Cairo Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.
DAY 2 CAIRO
This morning, meet your private Egyptologist for a full day exploring the wonders of Cairo. Beginning in Giza, at the foot of the Sphinx, before heading towards the top of the Giza Plateau to marvel at the three Great Pyramids of Giza – Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinos. Lunch at a local restaurant, followed by an afternoon visit to the step pyramid in the Saqqara necropolis and Memphis – the ancient capital of Egypt. Here lies the massive statue of Ramses II and a Sphinx from the same period. Today you will also enjoy a special Egyptian cooking class led by a professional Chef who will show you how to prepare traditional Egyptian dishes. Overnight at hotel. (BL)
DAY 3 CAIRO
This morning your Egyptologist will walk you through the famed Egyptian Museum with its 100000 treasures covering 5000 years of civilisation. In the afternoon tour Khan El Khalili Bazaar, considered to be the largest and oldest market in Cairo. Built in 1382 it was known as the Turkish Bazaar during the Ottoman period. This evening you will enjoy a dinner hosted in the home of a local Egyptian family. Overnight at hotel. (BD)
DAY 4 CAIRO
After breakfast you will be transported from your hotel in Cairo to the airport where your tour ends. (B)
