11 Days/10 Nights
Imagine a vast polar expanse, a chain of snow-covered peaks plunging into Drake Passage, and majestic icebergs splitting from the ice shelf… you are in Antarctica. In this place where the fog adds an extra touch of mystery to the pervading icy atmosphere, you will truly feel like you are at the end of the world.
To access the “sixth continent”, you will sail through the famous Drake Passage to reach the peninsula’s polar front, where the light creates myriad reflections on the ice-covered landscapes. The magic continues as you arrive in Neko Bay, discovered by the Belgian explorer Adrien de Gerlache. Further south, tall cliffs will appear, marking the entrance to the spectacular Lemaire Channel, and further still, Deception Island, a former whaling station, will reveal its colony of Chinstrap penguins. Here, time and space take on a new significance as you are greeted by a fascinating world of power and beauty.
Each day, whether on land, aboard your ship or during a Zodiac® outing, you will be surrounded by a grandiose decor ranging from icebergs to ice floe and ancient glaciers.

Meet and greet and transfer for lunch and time at leisure in the Arakur resort. Optional excursion to Tierra del Fuego National Park before embarkation.
DAY 2-3 AT SEA - DRAKE PASSAGE (ANTARCTICA)
If there is one place, one sea, one passage that visitors, scientists and other sailors fear in the Antarctic, it is Drake Passage. Lying at the latitude where the famous Furious Fifties are prevalent, between Cape Horn and the South Shetland Islands, it is the shortest way to reach the Antarctic. Seasoned travellers will tell you that you have to earn the right to see the White Continent…The “Antarctic Convergence” zone, where the northward-flowing Antarctic waters meet the warmer equatorial waters, is home to a rich variety of marine wildlife. But don’t forget to look up in order to spot elegant albatrosses and Cape petrels as they play on the wind around your ship.
DAY 4 NEKO HARBOUR - PARADISE BAY (ANTARCTICA)
DAY 5 PLENEAU ISLAND - PORT CHARCOT (ANTARCTICA)
DAY 6 PORT LOCKROY (ANTARCTICA)
During your cruise, your ship will call at Port Lockroy, a surprising natural harbour sitting in the heart of the Antarctic Peninsula. Discovered by the explorer Jean-Baptiste Charcot, over the years it has served as a relief and repair base for whalers and a British military base in turn, and it is now a scientific research station. Today, it is considered to be the most visited site in the Antarctic, thanks to its small museum that retraces the life of the station from the 1950s onward, and its souvenir shop. Do not miss your chance to stop by the world’s Southernmost post office, to write to your loved ones and share this special moment with them.
DAY 7 DECEPTION ISLAND (ANTARCTICA)
Nestling in the north of the Antarctic Peninsula, Deception Island rewards the traveller’s gaze with volcanic beaches and the vestiges of its abandoned huts. This was an important whaling port for a long time and in the early 19th century it became a refuge where sailors could wait for storms or icebergs to pass. The island's greatest asset is its exceptional wildlife. Today Deception Island is home to one of the largest colonies of chinstrap penguins in the Antarctic Peninsula, as well as elephant seals and fur seals.
DAY 8 WEDDELL SEA (ANTARCTICA)
A lengthy sail in the Weddell Sea, a labyrinth in which majestic tabletop icebergs abound, will allow you to experience an extraordinary and enchanting atmosphere enhanced by true silence. Here, the gigantic platforms of ice and the ice caps sculpt a landscape like no other, home to fur seals, penguin colonies, wandering albatrosses and giant petrels. The lords of this realm, the Weddell seals, will welcome you to their lands as the roar of their cries occasionally disturbs the tranquillity of the place.
DAY 9-10 AT SEA - DRAKE PASSAGE (ANTARCTICA)
DAY 11 USHUAIA (ARGENTINA) - DISEMBARK 7:00AM - USHUAIA TO BUENOS-AIRES
On arrival, transfer to the airport or why not stay longer and explore Ushuaia? Each of your cruises offers you the opportunity to discover the world’s southernmost city: Ushuaia. The Argentina capital of Tierra del Fuego is considered the gateway to the “Great White“ and the South Pole. Nicknamed “El fin del mondo” by the Argentinian people, this city at the end of the world nestles in the shelter of mountains surrounded by fertile plains that the wildlife seem to have chosen as the ultimate sanctuary. With its exceptional site,
where the Andes plunge straight into the sea, Ushuaia is one of the most fascinating places on earth, its very name evocative of journeys to the unlikely and the inaccessible…
