DAY 1 DANANG - HOI AN
Transfer from Danang Airport to your chosen hotel in Hoi An. Hoi An was a prosperous port from the 16th to the 19th century trading with merchants from China, Indonesia and Europe.

DAY 2 HOI AN
Tour the narrow lanes and gain an insight into Hoi An’s illustrious past as you explore this World Heritage listed town. Take in the old merchant houses and see the 400-year-old Japanese Bridge. There is plenty to see and do in Hoi An, but many visitors find themselves relaxing by the beach or browsing the markets and boutique shops. (B)

ITINERARY
DAY 1 HUE
On arrival in Hue, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Hue is the former imperial capital of Vietnam and is home to the tombs and mausoleums of the last emperors of Vietnam, as well as the remnants of their once grand citadel. This afternoon is at leisure to explore the relatively quiet and leafy city centre.

DAY 2 HUE
Start your exploration of Hue at the Imperial Citadel where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945. After exploring the ruins of this wonderful monument take a cyclo through the ‘Old City’ to Tinh Tam Lake where the Emperors used to come to relax beside the lotus-studded lake. Drive onto Thien Mu Pagoda, constructed in 1601, it is seen as a symbol of Hue city and has a tradition as a Buddhist centre of learning. From here continue on to the mausoleum of Minh Mang, located in a tranquil setting of gardens and ponds, and then Khai Dinh’s tomb – an unusual fusion of traditional Vietnamese design with a European touch. DAY 1 HANOI – SAPA
This morning transfer to the bus station for your shuttle bus to Sapa. Arrive in Sapa and enjoy the afternoon at leisure after checking in to your hotel.

DAY 2 SAPA
This morning take a 30-minute winding road transfer to Ban Khoang Valley. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the Hoang Lien Mountain Range. Stop at Lu Khau village home to Blue Hmong and Red Zao minorities. Explore the village on foot, meet the friendly local people and learn about their culture and lifestyle. Continue to the Ta Giang Phinh valley take a leisurely walk into the valley, home to the Blue Hmong ethnic minority. Vsit local villages and farmlands and learn more of the local culture. DAY 3 SAPA – HANOI
Take an early trekking tour to Hang Da and Sau Chua villages, home to the Black Hmong people. Return to Sapa late morning for lunch in town. In the afternoon, transfer to the bus meeting point for your return journey to Hanoi. Transfer to your hotel for the night. (B)(L)
